Saturday afternoon and Sunday saw a certain amount of harvesting in the Levin district, wheu farmers were able to take advantage of tho fine weather to continue the haymaking activities which has in numerous cases been suspended on account of the unsettled conditions of the past two I weeks. Much hay was harvested on Sunday which had been cut and lying I for over a fortnight.
