(From a Correspondent.) NEW YORK, Nov. 13^ Paulette Goddard is in New York for a week’s theatre-going—but tha film star declines to answer all questions of a personal nature, even to stating her age. Her blue-green eyes smiling, she said: “Rumour has it that Charlie Chaplin and I are married; rumour has it we’re not. Back and forth it flies until I am dizzy." Then, seriously: “I never discuss my private life. It is separate from my career." Miss Goddard revealed, however, that Mr Chaplin is busy on “Production Number 6," trying out what she described as a new method of producing. He / rehearses the cast for three weeks, then shoots the picture agaiusi “backdrops.”
