Alan C. Morgan, the New South Wales barefooted runner, who performed sensationally at Stawell and Bendigo, is to appear at Port Fairy on Boxing Day and at Frankston on New Year’s Day. Thirty-four years of age, he says that he has added “ground exercises” to his training, and intimates that, with a view to protecting himself at Stawell on Easter Monday he will wear spiked shoes m the twomile handicap.
