TJ.A.OJ). MONTHLY MEETING. . The quarterly summons meeting of the U.A.O.D. lodge was held in the Mayfair Hall on Thursday evening when Sister V. Webb presided over a good attendance. Accounts for over £lO were passed for payment. Apologies were received from several officers and one new candidate was proposed for initiation. Some fourteen members have signified their intention of going to Oroua on December 1. Nominations were accepted and the following members were elected: A.D. Bro., A. E. Powell; V.A., Bro. E. Sargent; 1.G., Bro. D. Sargent; A.D.8., Sister J. Leith and Bro. C. Millar; V.A.8., Sisters Q. Clements and A. Moriarty; M.C., P.A. Bro. T. Moriarty; O.G. Jun., P.A. Bro. IL Fisher Junr.; M.S., P.A. Bto. F. Riddler; delegates to Friendly Societies’ Picnic Committee, Treasurer D. M. Conway and Bro. V. Levy. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to the scrutineers.
As one of the junior officers is leaving the district to reside in Carterton, Bro. Boderiek received the best wishes of the lodge. Tho A.D. closed the Lodge in the usual manner and supper was served.
