Forty Million Mouth-Organs

Forty million mouth-organs in Germany have come into tho possession of the Standard Oil Co., of New Jersey, and the Standard Oil Co. is now wondering what to do with them.

“Wo have enough to give to every boy in the country,” announced Mr. Walter Teagle, president of the company, at the annual meeting of shareholders, says a message from New York.

Mr. Teagle explained that the strange acquisition was due to the German Government’s strict regulations controlling the export of currency. The mouth-organs were in payment for shipments of petrol to Germany. It is suggested that the mouth-organs might be given away as an advertisement.
