Feilding Methodist Church

Tlio first meeting of the Feilding Methodist men’s movement was held on Monday evening, when the Eev. J. H. Allen presided over an attendance of 25 and delivered an interesting address on the objects of the movement. Five points wero stressed as essential for the well-being of the movement: (1) The deepening of personal spiritual experience; (2) the enlisting of all the man power of the church in active service; (3) bridging the gap between Bible class fellowship circles and the adult fellowship groups; (4) assisting home and foreign mission enterprise; (5) taking a more vital and intelligent interest in the great social and international questions of the day. The next meeting has been set down as for September 15, when it is hoped that Mr T. R. Hodder will speak on bis recent tour to Fiji,
