The Free Ambulance

(To tho Editor.) Sir, —On Tuesday evening Bennott’s tuneful pastoral, ‘‘The May Queen,” will be produced at the Opera House py a trained choir. Tho proceeds go to the Palmerston North Free Ambulance. The organisation is very much in need of funds with which to carry on its good work for humanity. May I appeal through your columns to the public to attend tho performance and thus render practical help in our time of need.

As nobody hesitates to make use of the Free Ambulance when necessity arises, it is up to the citizens to respond to our SOS. A bumper house means a nice addition to our much depleted bauk account. I am, etc., J. T. BOSWORTH, Chairman.
