‘Don’t Marry Young,’ Says Knight
TO WED AT SEVENTY-THREE “Never since I had my first bicycle sixty years ago have I been so excited,’’ said Sir Frederick T. llopkinson, of Wimbledon Common, Loudon, S.W. —the man who built tihc Seuimr Dam —discussing with a London newspaper liis intention to marry again at tho ago of seventy-three. His bride is to be Mrs Lionel Booth, widow, of Wimborne, Dorset, and the wedding will take place in June. Date and details arc to be kept a close secret. Only members of the two families will be allowed to attend. The honeymoon will be spent on the Continent, where Sir Frederick goes every winter. “It is all nonsense to talk about men being too old at forty,” he declared. “1 was in my prime long after I passed that age. In my opinion marriages fail because the parties aro too young. “Marriage is the biggest responsibility in tlie world, and the older one is tho nearer one has come to a perfect understanding of life. “People say it is impossible for old folk to be thrilled.
