Fine Days; Cold Nights
Per Press. Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tho pressure is still low to the east and a very slight depression is located west of Cape Maria Van Diemen, but an anti-cyclone extends across the Tasman on to the Dominion.
Winds: Easterly at first in the far north and westerly in tho far south, otherwise southerlies predominating, force light to moderate mainly but strong on parts of tho East Coast. •
Seas (New Zealand waters): Considerable but decreasing southerly swell south of East Cape, elsewhere slight to moderate.
Eastern Tasman: Moderate southerly winds veering to westerly in the southern portion; seas moderate.
Weather: Fine generally but a few isolated showers probable in the far north and south.
Cold night temperatures with many frosts and morning fogs.
