Edwards’ Handling,

Before he left Patca for Wellington, L. H. Edwards, tho three-quarter playing good football for the Wellington Club at present, was considered by many to be a poor handler. His play in Wellington .Rugby this season has not shown the fault to any noticeable extent. Edwards as a pupil at the Hawera Technical High School was one of tho two best five-eighths the school ever had, but in playing for Patea he shifted to either cetnro or wing positions. He has all the attributes of the first-class player, and his displays this season, particularly at centre, have been marked by a conspicuous ability to run his wings into position.
