Wedding

WONNQCOTT—-SANDERS,

Knox Presbyterian Church, Danncvirkc, was the scene of a very pretty wedding which took place on Wednesday, when Olive, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs W. A. Sanders, of Kiritaki, and Huia, son of Mr and Mrs Wonnocott, of Palmerston North, were the contracting parties. The bride entered the church with her father, wearing a gown of French crepe, the sleeves being of heavy lace, whilo the veil was held in place with sprigs of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of cream roses. Three bridesmaids, Hazel and Joyce, sisters of tho bride, and Mavis Hales, of Wimbledon, wore striking frocks ot duchess satin, with silver girdles and head bands to match. Each carried a pretty bouquet to tone with the frocks. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Eric Herbert, of Wimbledon, and the brother of tho bride was groomsman. Later a reception was held. A pretty three-decker cake, in colours of cream and gold, made by Mrs Ralph Hales, of Wimbledon, a conspicuous feature. Mrs Sanders received her guests wearing a brown costume and tonings to match and carried a bouquet of hyacinths and maidenhair fern. Later tho happy couple left by car for North Auckland, the bride wearing a tailored brown suit with'hat and accee sorie3 to tone.
