Jersey Sale at Dannevirke

A reminder is given to farmers in this and other districts of tho sale being held under tho auspices of the Dannevirko District Jersey Club at the Showgrounds, Dannevirke, on Wednesday next, June 24. Tho catalogue comprises 30 pedigree Jerseys, 5 rising yearling heifers, 7 rising 2-year-old heifers, 14 females of various ages and 4 bulls,' two of these being rising yearlings and two rising 2-ycar-olds. In the case of animals that have been milked, all records have either C.0.E., 0.11. T., or group herd tests. The untried heifers and the bulls all have excellent butter-fat backing. .Here is an excellent opportunity for anyone to procure one of the older tried cows or a heifer to make the foundation of a good Jersey herd.
