Kopane Basketball Club

Dancers are requested to keep Thursday night free (June 4) for the event of the year —the annual dance of the Kopane Basketball Club. Last year's function is ono most people remember and this year the energetic committee aro out to beat any previous records. All dance-goers are assured of an evening to be remembered. The Rongotea hail is undergoing a transformation for this special occasion. Great efforts are being made by the decoration commit : tee to adorn the hall with a special variety of coloured toi-toi and native bush effectively draped with crepe paper and coloured lights which promise to far surpass any previous OaTccl. The novelties include something in the way of mysteries, also a coloured spotlight effect for the spotlight dances 'The supper will be up to the usual good standard, and the music will be efficiently played by a popular professional orchestra. Novelty dances and prizes have been selected to add to the night’s enjoyment. With all these arrangements well in hand the Kopane basketball dance uromises to be the outstanding success of the year.
