Happy Surprise Party

PANTKY TEA POE MISS AISLA VAKCOE. The homo of Mrs. E. 0. Hyde, of Margaret street, was the scene of a very happy surprise party on Monday evening, when many friends gathereo to entertain Miss Aisla A arcoe, who is shortly to be married, at a, “pantry evening. The guests were welcomed by Mrs. Hyde, who was attired in floral pique, while the guest of honour wore a dainty frock of crepe precious in tones of gold and blue. Gold nasturtiums and many-huea charm dalilas were artistically arranged to form the effective decorations. Games and competitions wero enjoyed during the evening and a delicious supper served. On behalf of those present, Mts. Hyde extended to Miss Varcoe best wishes for her future happiness and asked her to accept the array of useful gifts. Miss A'arcoe briefly returned thanks.
