Spivakovsky-Ku rt z Trio

CONCERT TOUR ARRANGED.

Lovers of music throughout the Dominion will welcome tho announcement that tho renowned Spivakovsky-Kurtz trio of instrumentalists will give a series of concerts in tho principal New Zealand towns, commencing at Wellington on January 20th. It is hoped that Palmerston North will bo included ini tho itinerary. These fine artists made a very successful concert tour of New Zealand in 1933, creating .a profound impression with the remarkable unanimity and verve of their ensemble playing in addition to their brilliance as soloists. They have recently been attached to tho Melbourne University Conservatorium of Music, conducting the master classes in their respective spheres. Tho programmes to be presented on tho forthcoming tour will include trios by Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Ravel, and new solo items by each player. Tho tour is under the direction of Mr D. D. O’Connor.
