Ship’s Engineer Drowned
NEW PLYMOUTH, Jan. 13. The body of Owen Sherwood, aged 21, second refrigerating engineer on the Port Adelaide, was found floating in the harbour this morning. Sherwood went swimming on Thursday morning and failed to answer the roll when the vessel departed at mid-day. A search resulted in his clothes being found on the beach.
