TEACHER AND SWEETHEART BASLE, March 1. Karl Cricder, 25, schoolteacher, and his sweetheart, a girl named Joeri, a employee, committed suicide by jumping a thousand feet from an aeroplane. The lovers’ leap was almost identical With that of the du B'ois girls, but the Basic pilot was horrified to witness the jump to death and unablo to leave the controls. Both Gricder and Joeri were unmarried. They paid for all four seats in order to have the aeroplane to themselves. They jumped seventeen minutes after the start.
