GENERAL SIR L. KUNDLE United Press Association. —By Electric ' Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, Nov. 19. The death has occurrrcd of General Sir Leslie Bundle. General Sir Leslie Bundle, G.C.8., G.C.V.0., K.C.8., G.C.M.G., K.C.M.G., C.M.G., D. 5.0., was born at Newton Abbot, Devon, in 1856 and educated at tho Boyal Military Academy, Woolwich, cnloring tho Boyal Artillery in 1876. Promoted to Major-General in 189 C, he became General in .1909 apd saw service in tho Zulu War of 1879, being mentioned in despatches; also in the Boer War (188.1), Egyptian War (1882), Nile Expedition (1884-5), Dongola Expeditionary Forco (1890), and the Khartoum Expedition (1898.) General Bundle was G.O.C. of tho Northern Command from 1905 to 1907 and Goverour and Commauder-in-Chief of Malta (1909-15.) Additional honours that had been conferred upon him included that of Knight of Grace of St. John of Jerusalem in England and a Pasha in Egypt.
.Death of Lady McEacharn LONDON, Nov. 19. Obituary.—Lady Mary, widow of the Into Sir Malcolm McEacharn. Sir Malcolm McEacharn was an Australian singer. Mrs. McEacharn was formerly Miss Hazel Doyle, pianist, of Sydney.
