Germany’s Preparations for War
CAN PLACE 2500 PLANES IN AIR WITHIN AN HOUR. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. LONDON, November 18. The Dispatch says that a special investigator, disguised as a workman — sent to Germany on behalf of British secret interests, has reported that Germany is capable of putting 2500 planes in the air within an hour if war broke out.
In Bavarian factories shifts are working night and day building planes and works near Kiel are turning out thousands of mines and torpedoes weekly.
