"We came to get repairs for our ’plane, which was damaged during a south polar storm,” Sir Hubert sail!. ■‘Nobody was hurt. Ellsworth remained at the island with Bcrnt Bulclicii. Dr. Dana and two other explorers. We are remaining at Magallanes at leas! long enough to secure repairs and needed fuel oil. We expect to continue our explorations until ncxl March. ”
