WELSH MINE DISASTER.—The most terrible mining disaster experienced in Britain for twenty years occurred at the Grcsford Colliery, near Wrexham, North Wales, on September 22, when 260 miners and three' rescue workers lost their lives in the mine following an explosion. The illustration gives a general view of the pithead and the crowd of anxious relatives waiting for nows of the entombed men.
