SAFE BLOWN OPEN AND £4OO STOLEN. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Aug. 26. A safe in Mr W. Penrose’s drapery store in George Street was blown open last night. Notes and silver "approximating £4OO were removed. Some cheques and postal notes were left. The entry was effected through a back window.
