Trousers For Women.
The new mode of trousers for women has few advocates at Leicester (according to an overseas journal) where two nurse 3of tho Royal Infirmary have been asked to resign because they apr peared. on .the streets in, men’a garb. The nurses had been warned, but they appeared again in flannel trousers and tho matron asked them to resign. The matter was brought up at a board meeting, when the action of the matron was upheld except by one member, Mr Amos Mann, who was the president of the Leicester Co-operative - Society, and whoso voice was raised to support freedom of action,
