Frenzied Welcome for Returning Arab Troops

Arab troops returning after operations against Assyrian Christians were given a frenzied welcome. While the soldiers marched to tho strains of “Marching Through Georgia,’’ played by a military band, tho Arab “malaliil” or welcome was shouted everywhere. Traffic was brought to a standstill for four hours. A great demonstration acclaimed King Fcisul when lie appeared on a balconv.
