From Our Own Correspondent. Although the series of fortnightly euchre parties arranged with the object of augmenting the school funds has been running for some time there seems no evidence of their popularity waning and on Wednesday evening last a large number of enthusiastic players gathered in the school, the games proving particularly keen and interesting. After drawing with Miss P, Price, the ladies’ prize went to Mrs. H. Jefferies, while Messrs H. Cheetham, T. Jarrett and E. Clcvely drew for the men’s prize, Mr. B. Clevely proving successful. After the usual nice supper, dancing was indulged in until Vi o’clock to music supplied by Miss Lulu Adsett and Mr. R. Tait, junr. Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Allen and family, of Paraparaumu, have been the guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. Sim, of Aorangi .
