Still Unsettled Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. Yesterday’s depression passed rapidly eastward and has been followed by a slight rise of pressure. A fresh westerly depression now, however, is advancing from Tasmania. Winds: Becoming north-west to north generally and freshening, gales being likely later about and south of Cook Strait. Seas (N.Z. waters): Bather rough and increasing on the West Coast, elsewhere moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Freshening north-westerly winds and moderate but rising seas. Weather: Fair almost generally at first, but conditions again becoming unsettled to-morrow in districts with a westerly aspect from Taranaki southward, with rain developing and temperatures moderate.
