Splendid Boxing at Sydney
TARLETON BEATS KELSO SYDNEY, Aug. 22. At the Stadium in a 15-round contest, Nelson Tarleton, 9st. 121 b., an Englishman, outpointed Jimmy Kelso, 9st. 81b, Tarleton really defeated Kelso twice. Kelso floored the Englishman with a low punch and tho referee immediately crowned Tarleton winner, but Tarleton refused to accept the decision, saying that he -was able to continue. The crowd o| 12,000 saw a splendid exhibition of boxing, Tarleton. being too fast and clever for the Australian.
