A brilliant stage attraction for the Regent on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, with "It’s Great to be Alive,” will be “Les Statuesque.” Direct from the "Pollies Bergeres,” Paris, this "Poses Poetique” is a presentation of unique charm and beauty that will give Palmerston North a delightful surprise. It is one of the most beautiful stage attractions ever seen In the Dominion and comes to this city after a very successful season in Auckland. On the following Saturday, the Regent will present on the stage, Miss Julie Russell, the dramatic! New Zealand soprano, who has delighted audiences everywhere she appears. She hails from Christchurch and was formerly a member of the Williamson Imperial Opera Company in Australia.
