Magistrate's Court
BUSINESS AT FEILDING The fortnightly sitting of the Feilding Magistrate’s Court was held yesterday, Mr E. M. Watson, S.M. presiding. A fine of £6 and costs was imposed on the Cunningham. Carrying Co., Ltd., for operating a motor lorry without having taken out a heavy traffic license. On a further charge of operating the lorry without an identification disc defendant was fined £1 and 10s costs. A conviction was entered on the charge of operating the lorry without bearing a classification plate and defendant was ordered to pay costs. Frank Stone, who had failed to take out a driver’s license, ms fined 30s and costs 225. Tendering a plea of guilty, Malcolm Sanson, of Ranghvahia, was fined £2 and costs 30s for stealing a Toll of sheep netting valued at 20s, the property of Thomas H. Williams. For failing to give way to traffic approaching from his right, Alevander Guthrie Banks was fined 20s and costs 10s. This charge arose out of a collision which occurred at the intersection of Lytton street with Kimbolton road on July 28 last.
