Eton Masters’ Tragic Fall in Bernese Alps
PRECIPICE SEVERAL HUNDRED PEET HIGH British Official Wireless. Received Monday, 7 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 19. The precipice at tho foot of which the bodies of the four Eton College masters were found is several hundred feet high. Powell was a prominent oarsman, who won tho Diamond Sculls in 1912, and was known as a watercolour artist. Slater was the holder of tho Military Cross.
