At the Warwick Farm races to-day the New Zealander Waratah Btarted ir. tho Farm Stakes (first division), Chide and King March in tho Homcbush Handicap, Persian in the Early Cup and Cockpen in tho Greystancs Nursery and Ephialtes in tho Varrowville Handicap, all being unplaced.

According to a northern paper Bronze Eagle is still enjoying a spell in the paddock and Ls to remain in. idleness until a complete recovery is mado from tho injury to his foreleg. He is to be taken in hand again in sufficient time to prepare him for the classic races at tho Ellerslic Christmas meeting, and it is mooted that a trip to Australia in the autumn is in view for him. Prolyxo bears a very bright appearance and has thickened out considerably since last season. Good things are expected of Amnion Ka’s sister, and although she disappointed after winning a double at Taka-puna, she will have the opportunity of redeeming herself in tho early classic raccs ( as most of our best youngsters will bo racing in Australia in the spring.—Star.
Huntingdon has been turned out for a spell, but it may not extend over a very long period. The Hunting Song gelding has been very successful this season, and has given every indication of being one of the Gray stable’s best representatives in the new season.
