Mollison’s Flight

AIR MINISTRY QUESTIONED. LONDON, July 14. Sir Philip Sassoon, Under-Seeretuiy for Air, was asked in tho House of Commons whether his attention had been drawn to the forthcoming attempt by a British airman, presumably Mr. J. A. Mollison, to cross the Atlantic both ways in a light aeroplane. Sir Philip said the Department’s

policy generally was not to restrict distance flights by individual airmen, out that must not be regarded as encouraging this projected flight.
