FINGER-PRINT TESTS

RESULTS OF EXAMINATIONS An officer of the finger-print department of New Scotland Yard, London detective headquarters, giving evidence in a recent case before Judge Gregory at the Central Criminal Court, London, said that he had made “some millions of examinations” of finger-prints and he had never found those of two individuals alike. In reply to questions as to the possible effects of time and atmoplierc, the officer said fingerprints did not deteriorate in the course of time and would not he affected by the atmosphere.
