QUARTERLY RETURNS The returns for the Feilding Magistrate’s Court for the quarter ending December 31, 1931, record the entering of 116 civil plaints for claims totalling £1134 8/9. Of these, (55 plaints representing £954 12/1 were tried, and the amount recovered was '£B32 2/2. Civil fees paid amounted to £lO5 4/0, and, with the fees and fines, the revenue for the quarter totalled £lsl 17/0, On criminal charges 43 males am: three females were dealt, with. For the previous quarter 313 plaints were entered, for amounts totalling £1514 10/0. Sixty-iivo were tried by the Magistrate, tho amount involved being £1147 17/8, while the amount recovered totalled £SOS 0/9. On criminal charges 70 males and four females were dealt with
