There was a remarkable scene when crowds rushed the gates to see Bradman, resulting in an enormous attendance for the beginning of an off day. He was subdued during tho early stages but subsequently batted at tho top of his form, scoring to all parts of the field. Woodfull reached his century in 212 minutes.
