Aviators are not the only ones who fly upside down. Recently observers reported having seen large flocks of ravens in Iceland, where the birds are plentiful, in inverted flight for distances as far as 1000 yards. These upside down flights are seen most often at the time of courtship, when the pirds indulge in acrobatics.
