MANAWATU SUMMEB TOUBNEY Tho Manawatu Golf Club was rather unfortunato in its choice of weather for the concluding days of its summer tourney, played on tho Hokowhitu course on Saturday and yesterday. On Saturday morning a bogey competition resulted in a win for D. Taterc (Dannevirko), 3 up. T. Pain (Palmerston North) was all square, D. O. "Williams (Manawatu) 1 down, and T. Louisson (Manawatu) 1 down. In the afternoon four-ball bogey there was a tio between H. Palmer and F. Swindell, and C. G. Moore and Miss Guy. Yesterday afternoon was devoted to Canadian foursomes, the list being headed by Chapman and Miss Keanus’, 09 9 00. Palmer and Swindell were next with 71—9—62.
