MANAWATU BOWLING CENTRE'S TOURNAMENT

Post-Section Play Reached Saturday’s play saw the Mnnawatu Bowling Centre's annual New Year's pairs tournament advanced to tho postscetion stage. Thcro was again good Weather, with a fairly stiff wind. Tho same four greens as on the opening day wero used, a change-over being made by the sections, A playing at Manawatu green, B at Takaro, 0 at Northern and D at Palmerston North. Section winners proved to be: A, Christianson (Terraco End); B, a tic between Boss and Eamsay (both of Palmerston North); C, Preeco (Alanawatu); D ,Sheehan (Patea). Today, with the completion of tho play-off between Boss and Ramsay, tho post-sec-tion games, on a knock-out basis, arc te bo contested.
