Bomb Outrages in America
WIDESPREAD TERRORIST PLOT. ANTI-FASCISTS SUSPECTED OF EASTON CRIME United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright, VANCOUVER, Jan. 1. Infernal machines mailed or sent by express kept the United Statues police on the qui vive during the New Year holiday. Sixteen bombs were traced to a terrorist plot aimed chiefly against wealthy Italians or highly placed officials. Five men known as leading agitators in an anti-Fiscist club in Cleveland, Ohio, are being sought as the possible authors of the queer crime which has thus far resulted in three deaths (two already cabled) in Easton, Pennsylvania. An anti-explosives expert is investigating the bomb.
