Australian Emblem Wins U.S. Fete Prize
United Press Association.— By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright. Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, J an. 2. At Pasadena an Australian float representing a gigantic lyre bird in flowers won the first prize at the famous tournament of roses there to-day. Two hundred thousand persons witnessed the five-miles long parade of the seventeenth annual event.
