Two Police and Four Detectives Killed
MURDER SUSPECT WITH MACHINE-GUN. . United Press Association. — By Electric Telegraph.—Copy-right Received Sunday-, 9.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Jan. 3. At Springfield (Missouri) two sheriffs and four detectives were killed in an attempt to remove a murder suspect from a farm house. The suspect opened fire on the officers with a machinegun, also wounding two others. Riot squads and gas squads troops were ordered out to take the accused w-lio has been sought for two ycai's.
