COMPETITION RESULTS In connection with tho CheltenihamCiwitca Sports Club’s New Year's Day neeting, a live weight- sheep-guessing lompetition and a distance-stepping sontesfc were held. The two Jive sheep weighed 193*1b, The ladies’ competition was won by Miss Banks, of Kiwitca (1 and ithe second by Mrs. Balfour, of Wai(tuna (1901 b.) Tho men’s first prize fa'dz won by Mr. H. B. Buchanan (193.1 2b.), and the second bv Mr. C. B-uthcr-(ford (1941 b.). There was keen competition in the distance stepping. Tho distance between the two pegs was 23yds. lft. Din. The trophies were won by Miss U. Bhannon, of "Waituna, and Mr. J. Cornifoot, of Te Awa, both of whom calculated the exact, distance.
