According to a report before scientists by Doctor Frederick Ebcrson, University of California, tho isolation and observation under a microscope of tho hitherto invisible germ of infantile paralysis as well as tho growth and cultivation of successive generations of tho germ outside animal organism, has been accomplished Ho stated the organism removed from virus and grown in artificial culture, proved exceedingly minute in size, ranging from zero point zero five to zero point one micron, which latter was equal to a thousandth of a millimetre.
