On a recent very warm afternoon a woman drove a baby car into a big cai park in one of tho London subuibs. After having backed the car into a gap indicated by the attendant she proceeded to “tread on it,” and kept the engine running hard for about a minute. She then alighted and carefully covered the radiator with a heavy ■ rug. Surprised and curious, the attendane volunteered tho suggestion that such procautious wero hardly necessary in such not weather.
