Messrs. Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report having a good entry of both sheep and cattle at the Askliurst sale on Wednesday, April 2. There was a fairly good inquiry and practically a total clearance was effected under the hammer. Quotations: Two-tooth ewes lvw. Ign.; empty cows, £3 17/0, £4, £4 4/-, £4 5/-, £4 10/-; fat cows, £5 5/-, £5 17/6, £6 10/-; crossbred weaner heifers, 35/-; small IS-mos. heifers r.w.b., £5 5/-; weaner pigs, 10/6, 13/6; good store pigs, 20/-, 22/6, 23/-.
