The Evening News says every English cricketer will gladly congratulate this talented youngster. The recovery of Australian batting dates from Bradman’s triumph in tho third test at Melbourne last year. His batting largely inspires the Australians in the belief that they will recover Tho Ashes. The Daily Mail says Bradman is the boy wonder of cricket. His gigantic innings following his previous scores shows the consistency of his genius. English crowds are yearning to sec him in action.

He has received a shoal of complimentary telegrams, including one from Ponsford, who hitherto held the world’s runs record. Bradman hit 42 fours during the memorable innings. EASY WIN POE NEW SOUTH WALES. Received Tuesday, 0.40 p.m. SYDNEY, Jan. 7. In the Sheffield Shield match against New South Wales, Queensland in their second innings made 84. Brew was top scorer with 26. Everett took sis wickets for 23 and Chilvers 2 for 22. New South Wales won by 685 runs.
