SEVEN-A-SIDE RUGBY ON KING’S BIRTHDAY

At last evening’s meeting of the management committee of the Mianawatu Rugby District Council, it was decided again to conduct the annual seven-aside tournament on the King’s Birthday which this year will fall on a Monday. After formally deciding to conduct the tourney, the committee finalised arrangements for the day’s play.. The following officers were appointed for the tournament: —Director of games, Mr. T. Pagan; time and bell stewards, Messrs. J. E. Hardie and E. Bly; blackboard steward, Mr. W. Schwarz; referee’s steward, Mr. H. Hands; call stewards, Messrs. H. McHerron, H. E. Crawford and K. W.
