Dalgety & Co., Ltd. report having a very'good entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle at their Mangaweka sale on Thursday, the 17th inst., all ctf which met with keen competition and sold at prices as below: —Empty ewes, 17s; light, fat and forward ewes, 19s; m.a. ewes, 21s 3d; mixed 2-th. ewes and wethers, 33s 3d; small lambs, 13s 3d to 15s; medium lambs, 15s lOd to 19s; small b.f. lambs, 17s Gd; fair b.f. lambs, 225, 23s lOd; 2-th. wethers, 29s 2d. A line of 732 2-th. wethers sold, on account of F. JL K. Corringe, realised 29s Id. Fat cows, £7 to ’£7 ss; light, fat heifers, £7; 24-yr. steers, £9 Is; 21 and 34yr. steers, £lO 10s; 31-vr. steers, £ll 10s; 4-yr. bullocks, £l2 10s; mixed weaner, £3 7s. , Dalgety & Co., Ltd. report having held their third annual sale in Mr. H. Knight’s yards at Komako on Thursday, the 17th inst. The yarding comprised 3230 sheep and 130 head of cattle. There was a large' attendance of buyers from all over the district, bidding was keen and a most successf” 1 sale resulted, a total clearance being effected.
