A message from Boston states that thousands of men, women and children to-day visited the cruiser Australia. The o(Beers attended Trinity Church in the morning and lunched at the Brookline Country Club. Admiral Hydo and his staff went to Beverly Farm as tho guests of the British Summer Embassy. They wi?l be received at dinner to-night by RearAdmiral Andrews. Admiral Hydo omitted the' scheduled 1 visit to the Mayor’s office. Mayor Nichols was absent and asked ActingMayor Green to extend the hospitality of the city to the visitors in his stead. A representative of Admiral 'Hyde ah swored Mr: Green’s question of thi Australian Admiral’s . apparent indifference by. stating that the Australia had been so delayed by fog that Admiral Hydo was unable to follow his expected'programme.
