HOCKEY REFEREES
MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. At a meeting of the Manawatu Hockey Referees’ Association last night there were present Messrs R. L. C. Aitchison (chairman), W. Broughton, F. Amos, M. Levy, J. Kyle, AV. Scott, and H. Milne (secretary). Donations were received from Messrs J. Kyle and G. M. Ransom (Bunnythorpe) who wero duly thanked. The Manawatu Hockey Association complained about the late attendance of referees and it was decided that the referees concerned be asked to explain. The secretary was authorised to expend up to £1 on referees’ notice cards. Mr. M. Levy was appointed delegate to the Manawatu Ladies’ Hockey Association and Mr Milne to the Manawatu Men’s Hockey Association.
